‘Anugraha
Drishtidaan?is a national level NGO, registered under the Societies
Registration Act and eligible for tax relief under Section 80G
of Income Tax Act to
focus on blindness eradication programme all over India .
Anugraha Drishtidaan has a comprehensive network at the grass
root level and has been working with the rural, tribal &
backward communities in various states in India for the last 6
years.

To provide quality and affordable services both preventive and
curative to people suffering from eye ailments. We shall also
make sincere efforts to sensitize and mobilize all concerned to
participate and contribute to the noble cause of eliminating
avoidable blindness with special care to poor, neglected,
women and student.

All patients Operated by Phacoemulsification:
There has been a rapid evolution in cataract treatment over
the past few years which are advantageous to patients,
including improved visual outcomes and faster recoveries.
Cataract surgery is performed using a surgical technique known
as Phaecoemulsification. This technique involves ‘no-stitch no
needle?approach that leads to a relatively fast visual
recovery. During the surgical procedure, the patient is first
prepped using a local anesthetic and drops. After the eye has
been sterilized, the surgeon makes a 2.5 to 3 millimeter
incision in the eye. In order to see inside the eye, Doctors
perform this delicate surgery with a powerful magnifying
microscope.

identifying the target group, priority will be
given to those in the rural' and backward
areas and living below the poverty line.
To sensitize District authorities, local
community and corporate functioning in that
area and to seek their support and
involvement.
Eye, camps will also be organized for the
community as per the requirement of any
corporate. |

Encouraged and touched by the noble work being
done by "Anugraha" in the rural and backward
areas for the poor and needy old persons, we
formulated plans to organize about 40 Eve
Camps during this year 2009-10 We once again
