National Integration Youth Programme

National Youth Project was created by Dr. S.N. Subba Rao a living true Gandhian with the following objectives:-

  • Harmony, among all religions, castes, languages, ethnic groups.

  • Jobs to every hand so that no body is left poor.

  • Eradication of evils like smoking, drinking, drugs etc, so that people are healthy
    Eradication of corruption

He strongly believed that it is the youth who can bring changes and improvement in the society . So he had launched movement to bring together the youths from various parts of the country belonging to various castes and faith and sensitize then to create a new society which is really secular , disciplined and filled with nationalist spirit.

NYP has organized more than 400 youth camps in India and abroad with a view to integrate mind and heart of thousands of youngsters drawn from different parts of India. “Anugraha Drishtidaan” organized youth camp in collaboration with NYP from 23rd April to 30th April 2008 at “Panchvati” Rishikesh Uttrakhand. 290 boys and girls from 19 states participated in the programme representing Assam, Bihar, Chhatisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Manipur, Mizoram, Orissa, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal. One week programme included flag salutation, everyday, early in the morning, shram daan, language classes, group discussion, community games, peace march, all religion prayers and cultural programmes. We also organized their visits to Shatrughan Ghat, Triveni Ghat, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy, Mussorie, ONGC Museum Dehradoon, Har Ki Pauri,Haridwar. Daily shramdan, clearing of ghats and banks of Ganga, peace march, cultural programmes from each state inspired thousand of people who saw these youths working with great enthusiasm and unity, thus camp was a grand success.

Aanugraha Draistidaan is presently working in 11 states of India. During the last 6 years we have organized 212 camps covering about 109082 patients. We had given medicines in OPD  to 33536 patients.34046 patients suffering from low vision were given spectacles.Out of 17000 patients idenitified as suffering from cataract, 14912 patients were successfully operated upon for cataract .Al most all the eye camps were organized in the rural and back ward areas.

Our future plans and activities will include

  • Organizing about 50 eye screening camps  each year.

  • Screening and examing about 30,000 people each year to detect if they have any eye problem .

  • To provide medicines to about 20,000 patients suffering from eye ailments.

  • To provide spectacles to about 15,000 patients suffering from low vision each year.

  • Screening  and examine about 50000 students each year to detect weather they have any physical ailment and their growth is normal under its Baal Arogya Project

  • Focus and areas of our activities will remain rural and back ward and we plan to identify and arrange for cataract operations of about 1000 patients in the state of Assam in  the course of time

  • To plan to create eye bank to cater services in the backward area
