Health Programme
for School Children: “Anugraha Bal Aarogya”
Children are future of any society. It is, therefore,
responsibility of the family, society and the Govt. to provide
adequate facilities and congenital Environment for their
growth and development. Health is the most important aspect of
physical and mental development of a child. Unfortunately
health-care is very neglected area so far, India is concerned
particularly in the rural, backward and slum areas.
Availability of qualified Doctors in such areas and
affordability are main constraints. In such a situation,
school children suffer in the absence of medical care by the
family, school, society and the Govt. with the result their
studies are impaired. There is no systematic programme of
their periodical medical check up, so their families or school
authorities do not know about their physical and mental
health.
“Anugraha Bal Aarogya” a project of ‘Anugraha Drishtidaan’
identifies the schools located in the rural and backward areas
